BALL LOCK PINS BY KIPP

Ball lock pins by KIPP are made of the following components:

  • Pins
  • Push button with spring rod technology
  • Balls

Ball lock pins - Application

Components, workpieces and other components in mechanical engineering can be quickly and easily connected and fixed by using ball lock pins. This is achieved by use of a push button. Ball lock pins feature a functional ball lock mechanism. As soon as the spring rod mechanism in the bolt is activated by pressing the button, the ball lock is released (balls are pulled inwards). When the push button is released, the ball lock is reactivated (balls pushed outwards). This ensures stable and self-locking latching. This means that plug connections can be coupled and uncoupled quickly and easily when in use.

Bolts may be used in a wide range of applications. From automation technology and robotics to the electronics industry and process mechanics. Ball lock pins are used in many areas of mechanical engineering and construction. It is comparatively easy to minimise set-up times thanks to the efficient self-locking system.

Ball lock pins - Styles

Ball lock pins by KIPP are available in different styles depending on requirements. Grips can be manufactured as T- or L-grips. The push button is either mad of zinc or thermoplastic. For special applications ball lock pins are also available in stainless steel. Ball lock pins made entirely of stainless steel are used in environments with high hygiene requirements such as the food industry or in environments with aggressive substances.

Standard parts by KIPP are of high manufacturing quality and function reliably as well safely even after frequent use. Ball lock pins are manufactured at HEINRICH KIPP WERK and are subject to the traditionally high quality standards of any and all KIPP products.
